About the role

Leadership: The Manager for this role is Rachel Atkinson. Rachel is based in Perth and leads our PMO function nationally.  Rachel has a very approachable management style and believes in leading by example, fostering a collaborative environment. Her communication is clear and supportive and she emphasises the importance of being yourself and maintaining openness, which has helped her navigate and manage diverse personalities within her team.

 

As a PMO Lead, you will own some Projects to manage, as well as manage a team of Project Managers and Testers. We will count on you to ensure that all projects and engagements delivered by Insight Services in the Western Region are to a standard that meets or exceeds expectations. Along the way, you will get to:

  • Set project management standards.
  • Oversee practice utilisation and P&L.
  • Financial Control for projects
  • Promote PMO services, including presales and RFPs.
  • Conduct project audits and reviews.

What we’re looking for

  • Extensive experience in leading a PMO within an IT professional services organisation
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects for enterprise clients
  • Ability to effectively sell PMO services to clients
  • Strong financial management skills
  • Proficient in MS Project
  • PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable
