Senior Consultant – Networks and Infrastructure
Location: This is a hybrid opportunity where you will work 2 days in the office,3 days a week from home or on a client site when required or in agreement with your manager. g

As a Senior Consultant with Insight, you will be responsible for designing, building and implementing infrastructure-based solutions to meet our client’s technology and business needs. We will count on you to be a subject matter expert who will be engaged in delivery of solutions for our valued clients and who also provides specialist IP support to sales and services teammates.

Leadership: The manager for this role is Cameron Zivkovic – Solutions Specialist Lead. Cameron is based in Perth and leads the Networks and Infrastructure function. Cameron will be committed to providing ongoing development opportunities to help you reach your full potential. As a member of our Networks and Infrastructure team you will be part of a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters growth, innovation, knowledge sharing and creativity.
As a Senior Consultant you will get to:
- Researches and evaluates client system infrastructure and architecture; draws conclusions; and develops recommendations in accordance with engagement objectives.
- Identifies and resolves project issues with clients.
- Supports identification of business and technical requirements.
- Implements technologies and solutions based on designs.
- Helps to develop technology solutions while ensuring a personal specialization in one or more IT technologies.
- Develops and maintains effective customer and user relationships, including representing Insight at conferences, User Groups and other marketing/PR activities as appropriate.

We are looking for a Senior Consultant with:
- Strong analysis, design and implementation skills and experience in a WINTEL environment.
- Experience in the following vendors and technologies
- Dell
- VMWare
- Hyper V
- NetApp
- Pure Storage
- The following experience is a benefit but not mandatory:
- Industry certifications and experience in networking technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, SD-WAN - ideally Cisco)
- Industry certifications and experience with Firewalls and network security (ideally Palo Alto)
- Strong documentation and written skills.
