About the role
Leadership: The manager for this role is Cameron Zivkovic – Solutions Specialist Lead. Cameron is based in Perth and leads the Networks and Infrastructure function. Cameron will be committed to providing ongoing development opportunities to help you reach your full potential. As a member of our Networks and Infrastructure team you will be part of a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters growth, innovation, knowledge sharing and creativity.
As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for assessing and designing complex Cloud Infrastructure solutions to meet our client’s technology and business needs. You are a subject matter expert for strategic client opportunities and provide leadership and technical support to your teammates.
Along the way, you will get to:
- Assist with developing new solution offerings, including training plans and sales enablement
- Provide Project quality assurance and technical oversight
- Research and evaluate client systems and architecture; draw conclusions; and develop recommendations in accordance with engagement objectives
- Lead and manage the creation and execution of project technical budget and scope
- Act as a team lead on large engagements taking ownership of the project outcome and quality
- Write proposal components and respond to RFPs and other marketing situations
- Work with internal personnel to define service opportunities, and develop standards of delivery, templates, and standard work products to meet internal and external delivery expectations
- Lead identification of business and technical requirements.
- Implement technologies and solutions based on designs
- Demonstrate analytical and systematic approach to problem solving and mentor team members to follow their approach
- Assist with the coaching and mentoring of teammates

We are looking for a Technical Architect with hands-on experience in the following areas:
- Cloud and hybrid networking services within Azure
- Governance and Security of cloud native services within Azure
- Migration of VM workloads into Azure
- Solid understanding of the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework
- Experience with cloud automation and IaC template deployments to Azure
- Demonstrated project delivery, autonomy and time management skills
- Excellent communication & stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in Azure Infrastructure based solutions including Azure File Sync, Azure Defender, Azure Virtual Desktop and Azure Migrate
- Understanding of scripting using Azure CLI and PowerShell
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (AZ-900, AZ-500, AZ-104, AZ-3030, AZ-304)
