Technical Specialist – Data Engineer
 

Location: This is a hybrid opportunity where you’ll work 1 day in the Perth office, 4 days a week from home or depending on agreement with your management.

We’re looking for a Technical Specialist – Data and AI with:

  • Experience in data engineering with hands on experience using Spark SQL to model and transform data.
  • Experience working with DBT and a good understanding of DBT concepts.
  • Experience building Power BI models and visualizations with solid understanding of DAX and Power BI visualization techniques.
  • Implement ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, DBT and various SQL engines including Spark SQL, Databricks SQL and Snowflake SQL.
  • Extensive experience working with large data sets with hands-on technology skills to design and build robust data architectures.
  • Extensive experience in data modelling and database design
  • Familiarity with common data modelling concepts and terminology such as Inmon, Kimball, snowflake, star, dimensions, facts, data lakes, data warehouses, data vault.
