Global Sales Support Analyst

Phoenix, AZ, US

The global sales support analyst role is responsible working with clients and Insight sales to provide operationally executable solutions on an international scale. Insight has presence in 17 different countries with the ability to deliver IT solutions across 87 countries. These solutions can range from hardware procurement and delivery, software provisioning, or IT service execution.


The role will have the following responsibilities:

  1. Digest client requirements for international proposals or RFx responses
  2. Develop a scope of work that includes the clients requirements, locations for deliveries, products and/ or services needed
  3. Identify budgetary solutions to define invoicing requirements and parameters
  4. Build cost models utilizing pre-built templates to validate profitability at a country level
  5. Solution Development based on Insight’s capabilities and footprint
  6. Collaboration across multiple departments in a solution lead capacity to ensure holistic proposal response
  7. Develop and deliver client facing documentation and solutions
  8. React quickly and rapidly to fluid requirements
  9. Summarize the solution, commercial agreements (pricing, net terms, etc) to create a check list for contractual conversations
  10. Conduct after action reviews to identify areas of the process that went well, what did not execute to plan, and define action steps needed for process improvement
  11. Collaboration with the bid managers on win/ loss analysis to identify gaps in delivery capabilities, pricing methodologies, and presentation that will gain additional client support

A well qualified candidate for this role will be able do the following:

  • Strong organization skills and task management while handling multiple projects
  • Deep Excel skills to write and manipulate formulas while completing cost modeling exercises – I’d put in a little more around expectations here
  • Strong intrapersonal and communication skills for multi-team collaboration
  • Flex business hours to accommodate conversations across multiple international time zones
  • Experience with solution development and architecture in IT service delivery
  • Excellent oral and presentation skills while presenting value creation conversation with clients
  • Previous global experience preferred
  • Sensitivity to multiple cultures and communication methodologies
  • Ability to conceptualize complex requests while identifying organizational capabilities and deficiencies to level set expectations across sales, operations and the client base
  • Six sigma, green belt, lean process a plus
  • Foreign language skills a plus
