Services Technician

The Client Services Americas team is a part of the IT Services organization. We are looking for an IT Technology Consultant to cover all IT-related matters for our office in Pittsburgh, PA 




As IT Technology Consultant you will be working in a user centric environment and actively shaping our strategy to create a superior user experience for our employees. 


What you’ll do at Insight:


  • Handle escalation management
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Provide problem management input
  • Host knowledge transfer sessions on IT topics
  • Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities
  • Provide incident management coordination with other support levels (2nd & 3rd)
  • Support Internal events and trainings
  • Coordinate with other IT teams on specific problem solving (AV, networking, server, etc.)
  • AV and conf. room support


What you’ll need to join Insight:


  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related fields
  • High customer service orientation
  • Ability to manage Customer Escalations
  • Continually develop and improve skills to meet the changing environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Willing to take the initiative, drive execution, and work independently
  • Open to innovative ideas and new technologies


Preferred skills


  • 1+ years of experience supporting technologies and customers
  • Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (macOS/Linux is a plus)
  • Knowledge of office software applications in Office 365 (e.g. One Drive, Teams, Planner SharePoint)
  • Knowledge of Project management principles
