Branch IT Technician

Technical Support position providing top-notch customer support for our customers employees in a challenging and diverse environment.



Provide customer first support for a fast-growing business group of 5000+ employees from one of our customers multiple locations. Possess the skillsets to perform as a Technical Support Analyst in a team-centric, fast paced, technically complex support environment. Strong emphasis focused on strong technical abilities supporting PC/Mac /Mobile platforms is required.


Position:  This is a hybrid position that will be onsite at the Plano Campus but will be fully trained in the branch space also.  Work would be 70% campus and 30% branch support except during vacation coverage which could shift 100% to either support model during that coverage.  Reliable transportation is required.  


Skillset must have:

Team player - must be able to work effectively with very unique personalities. Most work is collaborative so this is a must.   


Very strong Windows and GSuite knowledge.  Looking for someone who can research, identify and develop resolutions for numerous application issues.   Strong knowledge in proper troubleshooting techniques with software, ability to interpret log information and ability to work over multiple days with end users to vet out issues.



  • Ability to work with customers effectively. 
  • Run troubleshooting calls with multiple teams. 
  • Able to steer communication to stay on point, ability to discuss issues with end users in non-technical terms to calm situations down, document and share issues/fixes with the entire team.


Network Skillset

  • Experience in network equipment support.   
  • Understanding of how networks work. 
  • Able to identify hardware, how to replace physical hardware, understand cabling and patching. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively to multiple support teams, work under stressful situations, troubleshoot effectively when asked to run tests.



  • Cabling experience - Know how to run new cables, trace and punch down Cat 5, Cat 6, analog cabling and be familiar with fiber.
  • Proficient in reporting using Excel/Sheets 
  • Scripting    
  • Understanding of the Agile framework


This is a 40 hour work week but it is not necessarily 8 to 5. Times will change based on projects and support needs which could include some overnight work.
