About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer with a strong focus on QA and SDET responsibilities. This full-time role involves collaborating with a team of backend developers, frontend developers, solutions architects, and SDETs. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in implementing QA frameworks, automating tests, and ensuring quality standards are met within agile development cycles. You will also get to:

• Define and drive the overall QA strategy, standards, and best practices for multiple projects and teams.
• Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting on complex software solutions.
• Establish and track quality metrics
• Drive root cause analysis for defects and ensure preventative measures are implemented.
• Partner with software architects and development leads to influence design decisions that improve testability and maintainability.
• Coordinate with product owners, analysts, and super users to validate requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Work with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure test environments are aligned with production standards.
• Ensure testing is completed within the same sprint as development
• Address scope creep and prioritize user stories effectively

What We are Looking For

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software engineering
• 3+ years in QA automation or leadership
• Experience leading small teams (2–3 people)
• Developer background transitioning into QA
• Strong client interaction and independent work capabilities
• Proficiency in C#
• Experience with Playwright and/or Selenium
• Unit and integration testing
• CI/CD pipeline knowledge (preferably Azure DevOps)
