Network & Systems Administrator

Insight Enterprises is seeking Network & Systems Administrator to work onsite with our client in Purchase, NY. Our customer is seeking a Cisco and Windows Engineer to support the day to day operations of the current environment. In addition, they will help upgrade the Windows 2008R2 Servers to Windows 2016

.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • The overall objectives of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Provide day to day support of the Windows environment, performing all operational functions including, adds\moves\changes, backup, permissions, AD, OS upgrades, etc.
  • Provide day to day support of the Cisco Route\Switch environment.
     

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • 1 – 3 years of Cisco Route/Switch experience
  • 1 – 3 years of Windows Server and Active Directory experience
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2008 R2 and 2016. 
  • Experience working in a controlled environment with regards to Change Management
  • Familiarity with Technical Documentation
  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Good Communications skills in English, both written & verbal.
  • Communicate in a positive upbeat manner both verbally and in writing

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Knowledge and experience with Azure is a plus, specifically as it relates to Infrastructure.
  • Knowledge and experience with Palo Alto firewalls is a plus.
