The Sales Manager is accountable to build and lead a high-performance sales team that will provide leading edge information technology solutions to best meet both client and Insight business requirements. The Manager, Inside Sales will ensure opportunity awareness, develop and execute strategic plans, develop commission approaches, forecast and measure results, in conjunction with corporate objectives and revenue targets. This role will have both direct reporting and indirect leadership for a cross-functional sales team.



1.  Accountable to develop annual, quarterly and monthly sales objectives in co-ordination with insight’s business plan. 

2.  Responsible to co-ordinate the specific objectives of the Sales Plan with all business units.

3.  Accountable to establish both market and target customer strategies for the company.

4.  Responsible to build a solid team that provides a high-level of customer confidence and delivers value add solutions to the client in a timely and cost-effective manner.

5.  Accountable for the smooth transition of clients from sales to operations.



1.  Post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline (minimum education required).

2.  Minimum 5-10 years of experience in information technology solutions with leadership and account management experience in the hi-tech industry.

3.  Thorough knowledge of developing and executing sales plans including account planning.

4.  Thorough knowledge of the sales process, leadership in how to develop a pipeline of new business and have extensive experience growing existing business.

5.  Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, organizational presentation and planning skills.

6.  Ability to work effectively with all business units and all levels of employees in the organization.

7.  Commitment to exceptional business ethics with a high degree of professionalism and integrity. 

8. Knowledge of French

9.  Sell to US clients - good command of English language is required
