Social Value & Bid support Specialist is responsible for further developing Insight's Public Sector CSR initiatives and programs:

 

Leading our CSR strategy development work with our consultant 'Social Value Portal' and linking to CSR partners like Princes Trust and Digital Poverty Alliance.

Researching, identifying, developing and overseeing potential CSR opportunities and initiatives that align with the company's values and objectives and deliver widest reach / optimised scale for localised delivery

Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including senior management, marketing, and communications teams, to develop proposals and bids for CSR initiatives.

Building relationships throughout our supply chain to maximise the opportunities to recognise CSR work and building a library of CSR content from manufacturers and suppliers to evidence as part of our bid submissions

Developing compelling and persuasive proposals that outline the company's CSR goals, strategies, and metrics for success including preparation of customised and boiler plate responses for the Bids and frameworks team to utilise

Ensuring that all proposals comply with relevant regulations and guidelines, including environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria.

Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify best practices and emerging trends in CSR.

Building and maintaining relationships with external partners and stakeholders, including non-profit organisations, government agencies, and community groups.

Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of CSR initiatives and programs, and making recommendations for improvement.

Staying up-to-date with industry developments and emerging issues related to CSR, sustainability, and ESG.

Coordinating and reporting on our social value commitments made under customer contracts so we are fully auditable on our activities

 

The ideal candidate for the Social Value & Bid support Specialist position should have excellent writing and communication skills, strong research and analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of CSR principles and best practices. They should also be able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, and be committed to advancing the company's social and environmental impact.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.

Pubic Sector Knowledge

Proven experience (X years) in RFP management, proposal writing, or a similar role within the technology or IT services industry.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

Strong project management abilities and the capability to work effectively under tight deadlines.

Ability to collaborate across teams and leverage resources to produce high-quality deliverables.

Experience in preparing CRS responses
