We are currently seeking an RFP Executive to join our fantastic Bid Team within the public sector in Manchester on a permanent basis.

The RFP Executive is responsible for managing and controlling the bid production process when responding to tender opportunities generated by sales teammates, in line with Insight’s quality policies and procedures.

You should be based in Manchester and will be working 2 days in the office.


The role:


The RFP Executive is also responsible for maintaining and utilising a data library of proposals and responses and for prioritising proposal production in support of Insight’s strategic goals and objectives.





  • Maximise available resources to achieve a high quality and persuasive tender response within agreed timeframes by controlling the qualification of tenders through a bid qualification blueprint
  • Maintain a register of qualified bids including bid directives and win and loss reports and ensure that all appropriate documentation is held and controlled.
  • Manage the physical production process for bid responses and communicate with the client to ensure documentation (hard and soft) is produced to the client’s satisfaction and expectations
  • Collaborate closely with account teams, consulting teams and solution sales teammates to ensure accurate, appropriate, and engaging information is included in each proposal.
  • Suggest and develop improvements to inefficiencies within the tender responses process and continuously deliver high calibre tender responses.

Essential Skills:


  • Background in a similar role as Bid Coordinator or Bid writer
  • IT industry experience within the public sector would be an advantage
  • Experience of composing written literature and presentations. Strong attention to detail and produces highly accurate work
  • Demonstrates business acumen to determine if tenders have any level of commercial risk associated with them Experience of working within a globally diverse environment, showing an understanding of and keen interest in equality, diversity, and inclusion Ability to communicate credibly and with
  • Ability to communicate credibly and with confidence at a senior level to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to write content, create templates and manage the end to end process
