Description:
Our client, a non-profit based in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking an Intune Administrator for a 3+ month contract employment opportunity. The role will play a critical role in ensuring the security, compliance, and efficient management of the client’s devices and applications. As an Intune Administrator, you will manage the day-to-day running and maintenance of Intune for the client, acting as the client’s in-house expert.
Responsibilities:
- Device management: Support TSAs to enroll and manage a diverse range of devices onto MS Intune, including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. Act as an in-house expert, providing support to stakeholders across the client as required.
- Device compliance and configuration policies: Configure device settings and policies to enforce security standards and user experience guidelines.
- Intune updates: Oversee device app management, staying current with the latest Intune features and capabilities and executing upgrades where required.
- Policy implementation and monitoring: Implement security policies and configurations to protect devices and data, in line with the client’s policies and risk profile. Implement device compliance policies to assess device health and security posture.
- Reporting: Support the Technology Transformation Execution and Governance team to report on key Intune-related metrics, including application usage and performance and Intune service health and performance.
- Intune administration: Manage Intune roles and permissions.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams, including Cybersecurity and the wider Digital and Technology team to ensure seamless integration and support.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in a technology role, with at least one year of experience working as an Intune administrator or in a related role.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Intune and its core functionalities.
- Experience managing device and application deployments.
- Knowledge of security best practices and threat landscape.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build professional relationships and communicate effectively across all levels of the Foundation.
