Description:

Our client in the automotive industry is seeking a Senior .Net Developer, with expertise in C#, SQL, Microservices, API development, and various Azure services, for a 4-month contract employment opportunity. As a Senior .Net Developer, you will develop scalable software solutions, integrating with multiple Azure cloud services to support the client’s infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Develop & Implement: Development of software solutions using C# and the .NET ecosystem, ensuring efficient, high-quality code.
• API Development & Integration: Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs to support microservices architecture and enable seamless data exchange across various systems.
• Database Management: Manage and optimize databases using SQL Server, ensuring data reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Azure Cloud Services: Leverage Azure services such as Azure Functions, Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Key Vault to build scalable cloud-native solutions.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ensuring efficient code integration, automated testing, and streamlined deployments.
• Cloud Security & Monitoring: Ensure robust security practices and leverage Azure’s monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics for performance and security monitoring.
• Documentation: Provide thorough documentation for APIs, services, and system architecture to ensure clarity and maintainability.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment, clarity, and the successful delivery of solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture.
• Deep knowledge and experience with Azure services, including Azure Functions, Data Factory, Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Storage.
• Proficient in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of cloud security and monitoring tools, including Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality solutions within time-constrained projects.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a contract setting.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Azure security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, and encryption.
• SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) experience for data integration and transformation.
• Expertise in writing and optimizing stored procedures to enhance database operations and performance.
