Strategic Client Partner

Position Overview

This position creates and implements strategic solutions for our top Fortune 500 accounts. Strategic Client Partner will lead, manage, and grow existing premier services accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large Fortune 500 experience with a focus on directing and driving growth initiatives and building strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers. The candidate will be responsible for defining account strategy, managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and developing account plans that align with the client's business objectives.

 

What you’ll do at Insight

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients’ stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Drive business growth and revenue across assigned Fortune 500 accounts
  • Work collaboratively with client stakeholders and internal teams to identify and prioritize initiatives to achieve client objectives
  • Develop and implement account plans that align with client's business objectives
  • Manage and execute client proposals, contracts, and agreements
  • Execute client satisfaction surveys, analyze feedback, and identify areas for improvement
  • Build and manage strong teams to support client accounts with a focus on talent development and succession planning
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and lead the sales process from opportunity identification to close
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activity, and market development
  • Ensure client profitability and growth targets are achieved
  • Manage an internal cross functional team to enhance and grow accounts.
  • Manage P&L of strategic assigned accounts.
  • Work with management across the company worldwide to ensure process improvement and proactive effective communication.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

 

What you’ll need to join Insight

  • BS/BA degree from a four-year college or university and minimum of 8 years related experience; master’s degree preferred
  •  8-10+ years of experience in client-facing roles with C-Level and/or Executives within a consulting firm or services industry
  • Minimum of 8 years management and leadership experience required, including working in a global company.  Managing a team size of 15-25 in multiple levels of employees. 
  • Experience in creating and managing a P&L, budget, expense control managing revenue of at least $10 million and ability to make sound financial decisions required.   
  • Experience working in a consulting firm supporting  large accounts with an emphasis on sales and delivery in driving growth in App Dev., Cloud, Data and Analytics.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships with key decision-makers
  • Demonstrated ability to develop account strategies that align with client objective
  • Strong understanding of the consulting industry and market trends
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors and act professionally in all situations (with vendors, clients, team, department, and company).   
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel as required up to 25% -50%.
