Insight Public Sector (IPS) is currently seeking a talented and experienced SLED Sales Market Leader for the East territory.  This individual will be responsible for managing sales activities within the East region for Insight’s expanding Public Sector division. The Sales Market Leader will need a strong background in managing sales teams, with a proven track record in attaining sales goals. Responsibilities: 

  • Manage a professional field sales team in the East territory
  • Drive sales strategy and to work with account executives and sales managers to attain sales quotas
  • Develop and deliver effective sales presentations to customers
  • Motivate, coach, and manage sales team
  • Manage Account Executive sales performance
  • Build a sales team (support recruiting, hiring, and training of new employees)
  • Oversee accurate pipeline management
  • Exponential territory growth
  • Establish and develop strong partner relationships within the region
  • Work with Marketing to effectively create brand awareness
  • Ownership of the top customers in territory
  • Travel within region required
     

Required Qualifications:

  • College Diploma/University Degree or related experience
  • 3+ years of successful sales experience in the technology field
  • 1+ years proven sales management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with C-level executives
  • Highly focused on customer solutions and satisfaction
  • Strong negotiation and motivational skills
  • Excellent presentation skills. Must have experience presenting to large groups
