Our Software Solutions Team is responsible for delivering Software Licensing, Consulting and Deployment Services and Asset Management solutions to our clients and our aim is to optimize, manage and maintain our clients’ licensing estate, while helping them realize true cost savings and efficiencies through our trusted advice. Insight is looking for an Analyst to join our growing Software Lifecycle Services (SLS) team in EMEA. The role has opportunities for future growth and specialisation.

 

The core elements for this specific role are:

 

  • Support customer success in the field of Software Asset Management.
  • Working with industry-leading SAM tools from an operational perspective to help deliver licensing positions and a wide variety of related reporting.
  • To analyse and process customer provided data to perform the following:
  • Perform licensing reconciliation services.
  • Data quality assessments – for example, to support the processing of licensing entitlement records.
  • Feedthrough into analysis processes, potentially within and outside of Insight analysis aides and third-party partner tools.
  • Review of licensing agreements, specifically obligations and usage rights that fall outside of default models or standard EULAs.
  • Manage internal and external customer satisfaction, working towards a continually high level of pro-activity and engagement success.
  • Producing and maintaining documentation to support work performed. The role will involve close interaction with teammates who may be located overseas.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of our O&G practice. This may involve supporting solutions to customer-specific needs and scenarios.
  • Build and utilise knowledge of software licensing to support our customer-facing licensing desk, internal teammate inquiries and delivery of our managed service operations

 

The role forms a key part of Insight’s provision of SAM and licensing services, which range from tool delivery and management, licensing desk, reporting and optimisation services. There are career options depending on the candidates’ skills and goals, such as:

 

  • Move into a licensing consulting or process governance role.
  • Broaden experience and knowledge across software publishers.
  • Develop specific skills with respect to SAM tooling, contract analysis and data analytics.

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • English and Spanish – ability to communicate well in written and oral form
  • A keen interest in software licensing or SAM tools, ideally with some knowledge of at least one software publisher, with a desire to develop further licensing knowledge and skills
  • Ability to communicate with operational and management personnel
  • Spreadsheet, data analysis and searching skills
