As part of our team, you'll be responsible for providing expert technical support and guidance to the Insight sales organization and our clients in the exciting and ever-evolving world of Datacenter Technologies. You'll be at the forefront of cutting-edge networking, server, and storage solutions, using your industry-standard certifications to provide intermediate-level technical assistance and help our clients qualify opportunities, develop solutions, and create complex configurations. As the National Pre-Sales Engineer II, you'll also be instrumental in coordinating resources and gathering vital information to develop innovative and customized solutions that meet our clients' unique needs. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain industry certifications and partner specializations.
  • Provide advanced technical support via conference calls, email, and in-person within specified SLAs.
  •  Research and create client deliverables, such as BoMs, estimates, and manufacturer comparisons.
  •  Strategize with team to develop optimal client solutions and identify further opportunities.

 

What you’ll need to succeed

 

  •  Bachelor's degree in IT with 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Generalist level presales skills on Cisco products (EN/Security/DC/Collaboration.)
  • Cisco solution design experience and ability to demo basic Cisco products.
  • Current certifications: CCNA, CMNA, Cisco Blackbelt Academy.
  • Must have professionalism and solid phone skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, present, and sell strategies to various audiences (sales, marketing, partners, clients, consultants, executives.)
