Senior Consultant - Cloud & DataCenter Transformation

We are currently looking for a Senior Technical Consultant to join our team within the Service Design & Delivery area of the EMEA Services function and, specifically, within the Consultancy team. The Senior Technical Consultant will be responsible for providing expert consultancy to clients, owning transformation projects from initial client assessment through to successful completion and partnering with Insight and client teams to carefully scope and propose the most suitable, strategic solution for each client.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Own the delivery of Microsoft Security, Compliance, & Identity related projects to clients, accountable for ensuring defined service revenue and utilisation targets are met, and the delivery of anticipated client outcome.
• Teach, train, coach, and mentor teammates; promoting teammate satisfaction and enabling career progression.
• Support teammates with issues and help them to identify creative solutions to sometimes complex challenges.
• Manage larger and/ or more complex projects and delivery with a high degree of efficiency, autonomy, and performance.
• Own the delivery of IT related projects to clients, accountable for ensuring defined service revenue and utilisation targets are met, and the delivery of anticipated client outcome.
• Design, build and configure solutions to address client needs and business drivers, working with appropriate stakeholders to ensure expectations are met.
• Work closely with the Solution Sales Specialists to present intelligent end-to-end solutions offerings based on the clients specified requirements.
• To participate in workshops, client meetings, and calls to provide technical expertise in relation to Insight’s proposals, demonstrating credibility and inspiring confidence with clients.
• To design and configure Insight’s solutions according to client requests, mapping requirements and ensuring the most suitable configuration.
• To create statements of work in line with configuration/customisation needs required for each client.
• Maintain knowledge and awareness of the latest Microsoft 365 technologies, specifically Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft Sentinel

Skills and experience:

• 3-6 years’ experience as a Technical Consultant in Microsoft environments
• String skills in Microsoft 365 technologies, specifically Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Entra
• Microsoft Sentinel knowledge and work experience is a plus
• Experience of interacting with clients at different levels
• Solid experience of handling engagements, scoping calls and presales discussions as well as assessing customer environments and translating that into roadmaps
• Experience of mentoring and supporting junior team members
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
