We are seeking a senior level contracts manager to join our very successful Public Sector team in the UK. This team has won places on over 120 frameworks and is looking to expand further.

The senior contracts manager plays an integral role in the handling of Insights public sector contracts whilst managing the day-to-day operations of the contracts team. You will be responsible for ensuring that all new contracts, renewals and invoices are generated accurately within the parameters required for internal and external deadlines.

In addition, the Senior Contract Manager manages a team of specialists to oversee, facilitate, draft, and negotiate contracts in support of the organisation. They are also responsible for ensuring that teammates are properly trained and educated on all existing and new regulations, policies and procedures, product information, and systems.

 

Key duties:

 

Contract Management

  • Manage the contract function including contract reviews and contract processes and update them accordingly with new regulations and business changes to ensure contracts are in line with overall targets and company strategy.
  • Oversee the negotiation and drafting of contract documentation and statements of work (SOWs) in order to secure the best commercial terms.
  • Ensure the appropriate risk assessments are conducted and gain appropriate approval for all deals/contracts which are produced in line with company procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with the accounts and consulting teams, as well as solution sales teammates in order to ensure accurate, appropriate, and engaging information is properly included in each contract.
  • Manage and oversee complex deal opportunities that encompass multi-part contracts and relationships, secure maximum return to Insight while simultaneously mitigating potential risk.
  • Act as ‘lead interface’ and work closely with Insight’s Legal team to provide a detailed handover of non-fast-track contracts in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure the team manages requests for ‘contract change’ notices while ensuring compliance with Insight’s policies and procedures.

 

Essential skills:

·        Experience in drafting contractual paperwork and documents

·        High level of written and spoken English

·        Ability to communicate complex issues and to creatively problem solve

·        Leads successful teams in a proactive manner

·        Experience in the UK IT public sector market

·        Process driven with excellent attention to detail and a working knowledge of ITIL areas
