Right now, we are looking for a Senior Azure Engineer to work in our Core Engineering Division of the Engineering Centre of Excellence.

 

You will be responsible for providing technical direction on improvement initiatives, projects, training, and development whilst delivering core workstreams, as well as being a key contributor to the development of new / junior teammates.

 

You will bring industry expert knowledge within the assigned technology area supporting the Customer Operations Team with incident resolution when required.

As a Senior Azure Engineer your Responsibilities are:

  • End to end delivery of Cloud/Azure Infrastructure projects supported by the Project Management Team.
  • Provide proactive technical support to clients, taking ownership for the resolution of technical issues.
  • Teach, train, coach, and mentor teammates, promoting teammate satisfaction and enabling career progression.
  • Develop strong mutually beneficial working relationships with clients, to fully understand their requirements, technically assist with scoping projects, and integrate Insight’s services with existing systems to reliably deliver best in class solutions.
  • Supporting the endtoend ‘plan, build, manage’ stages of delivery and ensuring successful transition to the Customer Operations team.
  • To assist with the management of project deliverables, including development, implementation, configuration, integration, testing and optimisation of client solutions.
  • Provide proactive technical support to clients, taking ownership for the resolution of technical issues.
  • To achieve and maintain industry-recognised certifications, as required by the business.

 

Experience and Skills:

  • Experience implementing Modern Infrastructure projects in an enterprise environment.
  • Good working knowledge of core public cloud infrastructure components.
  • Experience managing Azure AD.
  • Azure OR AWS engineering / implementation experience.
  • Good working knowledge of core public cloud infrastructure components.
  • Experience creating Azure PaaS services (Blob Storage, Functions, AppService).
  • Experience managing of Azure AD
