As a Sales Support Account Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting our Account Manager’s, to help meet the needs of our customers. You will be working closely and directly with our Account Manager’s, our Customers, Vendors and Distributors, to ensure we are providing the required products, solutions and services, that will help to enhance our customers businesses and teams, in a timely manner.

What type of work will you be doing?

  • You will be servicing Insight customer accounts, as a first point of contact for any general questions or queries related to our products and services.
  • You will be responsible for understanding their technical product and licencing requirements and creating/processing the related quotes and orders, as requested.
  • You will proactively contact our customers to inform them of any product/licencing renewals that are required.
  • You will be working with our Vendors and Distributors to place related orders, track order progress and manage and related order errors/queries where necessary.
  • You will be educating our customers on additional products, licencing and solutions available.
  • You will liaise with other internal/external stakeholders and departments, where required, to carry out your daily duties.

 

 

What capabilities you will need to succeed in this role:

  • You will have similar experience working in a Sales Support position and have had experience working closely with sales teams, customers, vendors and distributors.
  • You will have knowledge and experience of various technology products and solutions, including software, hardware and ideally Microsoft Licencing.
  • You will have had experience creating and processing both quotes and orders and used to responding to any related order/processing questions and queries.
  • You will be a strong communicator and very good at building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will be an intuitive, self starter, who is used to collaborating with various teams and making informed decisions, to find the best solutions to complete the tasks at hand.
  • You will be invested in continuous learning and development and have a keen interest in pursuing related technology certifications, where required.
