About the role

Leadership: The Manager for this role is Dean Graham, based in Sydney, Australia. Dean is the Sales Director (Technology) SANZ - Insight Enterprises Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.

 

As a Solution Sales Specialist you will develop Services opportunities within existing accounts, as well as taking services solutions to market for net new clients to Insight. The primary function of Solutions Sales Specialist is to grow consulting services opportunities. This includes taking opportunities to closure and expanding opportunities to the breadth of Insights services portfolio

 

Your focus will be on achieving sales and profitable growth through client engagement, account planning, partner teaming and engagement, as well as solution development. You will work with sales management to design, recommend and assist in short-term and long-term sales strategies within your assigned territory. You will be representing Insight services value proposition to a mix of accounts, from SMB to mid-market and public sector.

 

Along the way, you will get to:

  • Grow services GP directly via working with Technology Account Managers in existing and new accounts
  • Attend co-sell meetings with AMs to help get the best outcomes for the client and Insight
  • Manage the services relationship within your assigned territory
  • Develop and close sales opportunities on your own and/or in coordination with Insight Account Managers
  • Complete and execute account plans to sell to non-services buying accounts, further penetrate existing buying accounts and develop net new account opportunities
  • Conduct and deliver professional sales presentations on Insight’s value proposition and Insight’s capabilities specific to services
  • Proactively look for additional opportunities within client engagements for other lines of business and expanded services portfolio sales
  • Identify and create new consulting services engagement opportunities for Insight’s services delivery team
  • Engage with Insight Practice Managers and PTS partners to drive new business initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships with key partners in their territory, notably Microsoft
  • Attend local key partner events and training sessions
  • Facilitate Partner /AE communication on opportunity and account
  • Achieve Sales Certifications
  • Maintain awareness of all Insight consulting services practice offerings

We are looking for a Solution Sales Specialist with the following capabilities:

  • Strong understanding of how technology supports an organisation’s objectives (e.g. Cybersecurity compliance, Business Continuity Planning, Customer Experience, Digital Transformation)
  • Previous sales experience successfully selling Cloud Migration + Infrastructure Modernisation; Modern Workplace (EUC/Desktop, Collaboration); IT Managed Services
  • Experience working with Technical and Business Stakeholders to reach outcomes
  • Clear evidence of consistent target over achievement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding negotiation and relationship building skills
