Solution Sales Executive (CDCT) Oklahoma

As a Solutions Sales Account Executive, you’ll be accountable for the primary customer facing sales function that drives revenue and manages customer relationships. This individual communicates and sells Insight value, under limited direction, utilizing highly complex and sophisticated products, services, applications, software, and systems to achieve goals and objectives. Responsibilities include the expansion and maintenance of new and existing customer accounts, development and implementation of sales strategies, calling on customers, presenting new concepts, solutions and products, and ensuring adequate sales and engineering support and service


What you’ll do at Insight:


  • You’ll be responsible for developing and managing business that generates significant revenues on an annual basis
  • Participates in sales activities, including strategic account management, with large account customers, performs sales presentations, ensures needed resources are available, keeps informed of customer needs and offers “big-picture” solutions.
  • You’ll consistently achieves above-average results by understanding the customer’s business, motivations for purchase, and empathizing with client problems while setting a plan to meet their needs
  • Develop an account plan(s) in conjunction with Insight resources to use technical and practice expertise aligned to Insight goals and strategies. Collaborates across all business units.  
  • Maintains a comprehensive understanding of product and service offerings so that opportunities can be identified in prospect and customer base.
  • You’ll build and manage relationships with product vendors and suppliers based on strategic direction of Insight.


What you’ll need to join Insight:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or 4 years related industry experience in lieu of degree
  • 5+ years’ proven sales experience in the high-tech industry required, preferably in the data storage, cloud, managed services, unified communications, virtualization
    and consolidation areas of the industry.
