Solution Sales Specialist


We would love to add to our family of teammates with a Solution Sales Specialist in the Services and Solutions Sales Teams, to focus on Connected Workforce & Modern Workplace Solutions opportunities within the Belgium region.


You will work alongside the Sales teams and will frequently visitor customers sites. You will need to maintain in-depth and up to date knowledge and a high level of understanding of Connected Workforce Solutions and modern workplace solutions, ideally holding Microsoft intermediate certifications.


What you will be doing as Solutions Sales Specialist:


Acting as key ‘virtual lead’ and ‘go to person’ for Connected Workforce Solutions area, you will be working on translating qualified opportunities into sales, this will mainly from come warm relationships or existing customers – this is not a “hunter” role and opportunities will be passed to you from the sales teams, account managers and partner organisations. Key responsibilities and activities include:


  • Collaborating closely with internal sales teams and technology specialists to create sales proposals and close sales from the opportunities they have identified.
  • Guide pre-sales and technical team members to support opportunities including mapping RFI/RFP requirements, proposal writing, business case construction and scoping etc.
  • Supporting new business generation initiatives and opportunities to achieve growth from existing clients, what solutions can they acquire from us to improve their technology and landscape.
  • Being the clients trusted adviser and consultant, able to showcase Insight’s cloud services (IaaS, PaaS) and how they can benefit from adopting them
  • Taking a proactive and creative approach to achieve and exceed individual sales targets and team goals.
  • Owning and attending pre-sales meetings for Cloud and Data Centre Transformation, building strong and robust client relationships throughout all aspects of the solution sales cycle.


Your Skills & Experience:


If you possess some or maybe even all the below, then this could the opportunity for you.


  • Experience within the IT services or similar organisation, could be gained in either a partner, reseller or services business – enterprise or SME
  • Very strong understanding of Connected Workforce Solutions and Modern Workplace solutions, including M365/O365, Sharepoint, Teams etc.
  • Good understanding of worklplace/end user transformation journeys many organisations are embarking on
  • Technical understanding, able to speak confidently at a technical level
  • Client facing technology services sales experience
  • A team player who can engage and work successfully within a mutually supportive and diverse team structure across multiple locations.
  • Outstanding presentation skills and demonstrable gravitas with the clear ability to engage with high profile client organisations at senior levels.
  • Worked in a targeted sales role (either with existing or new name customers)
