The Solution Sales Specialist represents a valuable resource for Insight. Through your solid experience, you will help clients assess their business requirements, recommend solutions that meet their requirements and needs, and demonstrate these solutions to win the technical decision.
You will be a technical lead and trusted advisor in customer decision-making to purchase and adopt cloud solutions such as M365, Microsoft Azure, and AWS. You will be responsible for winning the technical decision of customers for sales opportunities and usage scenarios, adapting your message, providing ideas to customers and guiding them in their decision making. You'll lead presentations and solution demonstrations to explain to our largest customers the capabilities of Microsoft cloud products and solutions, and how we can make their businesses more successful.
Key responsibilities:
• Shape the right solution for the client with the right technology, at the right price, and with the right risk profile.
• Lead cloud solution and outreach to generate technical solutions, estimates and approaches.
• Develop compelling proposals for clients, including writing proposals.
• Demonstrate experience presenting technical topics in front of a senior audience, including C-Levels.
• Apply the methodology, reusable assets and previous work experience to deliver consistently high quality work.
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in at least three (3) of the following modern digital technologies:
• Data and Applied Innovation
• Identities
• Microsoft 365
• Application Modernization
• Azure IaaS
• Azure PaaS
• Data Centre Transformation
• Managed services
Requirements:
• Extensive experience in the sale of professional and managed services.
• Technical and commercial background through previous sales or pre-sales experience
• 5+ years of on-premise and cloud sales experience (preferably Microsoft)
• 2+ years of Microsoft sales experience: Modern Work, Security and Cloud Computing
• 5+ years of experience working with solutions that include some of these elements: Office 365, Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, Virtual Machines, Microsoft Defender, Data Lake, SQL Server, Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, Power Platform, Power BI, Cloud Storage & Backup, AWS Solutions, GCP and/or other comparable data solutions.
• Cloud implementation presentation skills: design, integration and security in the hybrid cloud, experience in Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Containers and Microservices, etc.
• Strong understanding of multiple IaaS / SaaS /PaaS solutions that will address our clients' business needs.
• It will be valuable if you have pre-sales experience of classic virtualization platforms (for example, VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.)
