About the role

Leadership: The leader for this role is Bruce Anderson.  Bruce is based in Brisbane and leads our AI Apps & Data practice across APAC.

As a Consultant you will design, build and implement modern Microsoft data and analytics solutions that solve real business problems for our clients. We will count on you to contribute to solution delivery under the guidance of a Practice Lead, support requirements gathering, and develop high-quality analytics components using Azure and the modern Microsoft data stack.

Along the way, you will get to:
· Work with a Practice Lead and project team to deliver high‑quality analytics solutions for our clients
· Support the identification of business and technical requirements and translate them into technical tasks
· Implement data and analytics technologies based on solution designs, including coding, fixing and documenting simple systems and enhancements
· Build and maintain simple unit tests for developed components and participate in agile delivery activities such as daily stand‑ups and reviews

What we’re looking for

· A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of two years’ experience designing, building and implementing Microsoft solutions on Azure
· Solid fundamentals in SQL, Spark/SparkSQL, DAX and data modelling, with exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and modern data platforms such as Azure Synapse or Databricks
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical and abstract concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders, including client executives
· A collaborative, organised and growth‑oriented teammate who can build strong relationships, manage multiple priorities and follow agreed quality standards in a consulting/professional services environment
