Sr Azure Security Consultant

As a Senior Security Consultant: Microsoft Security, you will be a Subject Matter Expert in Microsoft Azure Sentinel (inc Azure Security Center), Microsoft Information Protection (inc MCAS), Developing intellectual property (IP) for use in future engagements, leading the establishment of customer cybersecurity programs and priorities, and planning long-term security and compliance goals to define security strategies, metrics, and technology roadmap.

Your role will be hands-on technical delivery of customer projects related to Microsoft Security technology stack and you will be a core contributor to your immediate team. You will work closely with our clients and teammates to deliver solutions around the security technology partners and services capabilities we represent. This role provides ample opportunity for professional growth and will expose you to a variety of other consulting engagement types and security solutions, depending on your skillset.

 

What you’ll do at Insight:

  • Become the foremost recognized expert in one of the following solutions:
    • Microsoft Azure Sentinel (inc Azure Security Center)
    • Microsoft Information Protection (inc MCAS)
  • Develop IP for use in future engagements
  • Lead the establishment of customer cybersecurity programs and priorities
  • Plan long-term security and compliance goals to define security strategies, metrics, and technology roadmap.
  • Project delivery: lead or take part in the full scope of consulting engagement activities on customer projects from kickoff to hands-on technical work, to presenting the final deliverables. Create and maintain project docs and project status.
  • Identify and recommend enhancements to client environments to improve the quality, performance, security and
    reliability of their network. Identify additional ways to bring value to the customer.
  • Hands-on technical delivery of customer projects related to Microsoft Security
  • Internal Practice Development:
    • Provide mentorship and guidance for less experienced teammates regarding data center migration methodologies.
    • Lead and contribute to development of new practice related materials and IP for use in future engagements
    • Contribute to internal Insight practice documentation, procedures, standards, and best practices, and templates.
       

What you’ll need to join Insight:

  • Must possess and exhibit a high level of integrity and passion for the disciplines of IT Security and Risk Management
  • 5-10 years of relevant Microsoft experience in an enterprise environment
  • Experience working in a consulting environment is preferred
  • Experience designing and implementing Microsoft Security and related technologies
  • Strong understanding of technologies for private and public cloud
  • Ability to present in front of customers and discuss the above technologies in detail
  • Ability to document and visualize solutions delivered
  • Required Skills: Azure AD, Azure Sentinel Log Analytics, KQL, MIP / AIP, MCAS

Compensation is determined by fair market value: approx. range $120,000 - $160,000
