Sr. Power BI Developer

Insight's Data/AI Practice in the Central Region is searching for an experienced, passionate and professional Senior Power BI Developer to join our team. 
 
What you’ll do: 
 
•    Manage the full lifecycle of Power BI development 
•    Design & develop Power BI tabular models, reports & dashboards 
•    Working with stakeholders (e.g., business, security, operations) to meet all requirements for successful implementation of reports & dashboards 
•    Document design decisions, operational guidelines, and other similar types of information 
•    Develop Power BI Datasets & Reports 
•    Manage Power BI Access & Distribution (Workspaces, Apps) 
•    Deploy Power BI Artifacts 
 
 
What you’ll need to join us: 
•     5+ years of experience with Power BI development, including the following: 
o    Data visualization design 
o    Tabular model development 
o    Power BI data visualization development 
•    2+ years of experience managing Power BI environments 
o    Deployment 
o    Report Distribution / Access Control 
•    Strong command of DAX principles and practical application thereof 
•    Strong skillset in data querying and manipulation through use of languages such as SQL, Python, or M 
•    Strong analytical and reasoning skills that result in clear technical execution.  
•    Proven ability to prioritize, self-direct and execute at velocity  
•    Passion to deliver craftsman-quality work both individually and as part of a team  
•    Solid communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders  
•    Desire to learn new skills and grow competencies  

Compensation: $125-140k + Variable Compensation
