About the role

Your Mission

As a Software Engineer - Backend Development, your mission is to build cloud-native applications that empower users to work more efficiently across a variety of use cases. You will also contribute towards developing cutting-edge AI-driven agentic applications, leveraging Python, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) serverless technologies, and advanced frameworks like LangChain and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to solve complex customer challenges . At SADA, a premier Google Cloud Platform (GCP) partner, you’ll help customers maximize their use of GCP technologies across diverse industries. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain broad experience solving complex challenges and developing scalable solutions in a

dynamic, service-oriented environment.

• Contribute to projects at all stages from early discovery to full end-to-end application

Expectations

Required Travel - Limited (<5%) travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events.

Customer Facing - You will interact with customers regularly, sometimes daily, other times

weekly/bi-weekly. Common touchpoints occur when qualifying potential opportunities, at

project kickoff, throughout the engagement as progress is communicated, and at project close.

You can expect to interact with a range of customer stakeholders, including engineers, technical

project managers, and executives.

Onboarding/Training - The first several weeks of onboarding are dedicated to learning and will

encompass learning materials/assignments and compliance training, as well as meetings with

relevant individuals. Details of the timeline are shared closer to the start date.

Job Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in software development more focused on backend development with Python and/or Typescript.
• 1 year of hands-on experience designing, developing, or deploying AI-driven applications, agentic systems, or LLM-based solutions

Required Qualifications:

• A degree in computer science or a related field is preferred
• Strong Python programming skills with production application experience.
• Strong experience building REST APIs and backend services with production-level code quality.
• Proven ability to pick up new programming languages, frameworks, and cloud services quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of Agent Development Workflows, including prompt engineering, function calling, and multi-agent orchestration.

Useful Qualifications:

• Experience using Google Cloud Platform, in particular serverless (Cloud Functions), containers (Cloud Run, Kubernetes), and platforms (App Engine)
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD concepts
• Familiarity with frontend web technologies, particularly React and Angular
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
