About the role

Leadership: Insight has 2 East Coast Practice Leads for Data and AI – Bruce Anderson and Ali Sadreddini. Bruce & Ali will be committed to providing ongoing development opportunities to help you reach your full potential. As a member of our Data & AI team, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters growth, innovation, knowledge sharing and creativity.  

The AI Augmented Architect is responsible for assessing and designing complex solutions tailored to clients’ technology and business requirements incorporating GenAI throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring optimal efficiency, innovation and quality.

The architect acts as a subject matter expert for Insight’s Data and AI practice providing technical leadership and guidance to team members on the use of GenAI. The position also acts as Team Lead on major engagements to help achieve quality and forward-looking results.

Along the way, you will get to:

  • Develop new solution offerings by incorporating GenAI capabilities, such as creating AI-powered training plans and sales enablement materials.
  • Use GenAI analytics to oversee and improve project quality and deliverables.
  • Use GenAI tools to assess client systems and architectures, draw AI-based conclusions, and provide recommendations that match engagement goals.
  • Apply GenAI to enhance software development and testing processes, leveraging AI-driven code generation, test automation, and defect prediction to accelerate delivery and improve solution quality.
  • Draft proposal components, letters of understanding, and RFP responses with the assistance of GenAI for rapid, high-quality content generation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define service opportunities, developing AI-augmented standards of delivery, templates, and reusable work products to meet evolving delivery expectations.
  • Coach teammates, encouraging GenAI adoption and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, emphasising responsible and ethical GenAI use.

What we’re looking for

  • Extensive experience architecting, designing, and implementing advanced Microsoft technical solutions, with a strong emphasis on integrating GenAI capabilities across Azure IaaS and PaaS environments to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Proven consulting or professional services experience, including the application of GenAI to solve complex client challenges.
  • Deep expertise with the Azure Data platform (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, Fabric), leveraging GenAI for data engineering, advanced analytics, and automated insights.
  • Advanced Python programming skills, with a focus on contributing to the development of Insight’s Data & AI accelerators.
  • Hands-on experience with dbt (data build tool), especially in scenarios where GenAI is used to automate data transformation, documentation, and quality assurance.
  • Continuous learning and application of emerging GenAI technologies, ensuring solutions remain at the forefront of AI-driven innovation.
