Principal Consultant - Networking and Infrastructure

Location: This is a hybrid opportunity and can be based in Brisbane, Perth or Sydney.

As a Principal Consultant with Insight, you will be a sales focused technology specialist, who is viewed as a trusted advisor by our clients. We will count on you to own and implement proposed solutions, whilst overseeing the Delivery Consultant team members and remaining engaged with the client. Along the way, you will be responsible for assisting with the development of Intellectual Property (IP) in your area of expertise.

Leadership: The Manager for this role is Jason Booth.  Jason is based in Perth and leads our Networking and Infrastructure practice.

As a Principal Consultant you will get to:

• Lead the enhancement of Insight's technical expertise.
• Contribute to designing and structuring client-focused solutions.
• Support client proposals and get involved early in client planning and solution definition.
• Be responsible for the delivery of solutions against pre-agreed specifications.

We are looking for a Principal Consultant with:

• Substantial experience in a pre-sales technical role within a Services environment.
• Ability to deliver strategic consultancy services including advisory on datacentre migration and refresh
• Extensive background in designing and deploying Data Centre, Server, Storage, Networking, Firewalls, Virtualisation, and Backup solutions across multiple vendors.
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong client relationships.
• Ability to engage and lead a team of Delivery Consultant team members
