About the role

Leadership: The Manager for this role is Darren Hoskin.  Darren is based in Sydney and has responsibility for over 30 teammates spread across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Manila. He has over 30 years’ experience in the IT industry, with the last 6 years at Insight. Darren believes open communication and a very strong team culture provide an excellent working environment resulting in long term employees within the team (several of them more than 10 years). He focusses on the success of the team as the measure of their own success.

As Senior IT Sales Support, you will provide superior service and assistance to customers and account managers.  We will count on you to manage all day-to-day aspects of the customer to ensure customer satisfaction and customer growth. Along the way, you will get to:

  • Service accounts by processing orders and quotes, answering inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, credit, catalogue / price list management, & volume licensing questions via phone or email.
  • Act as the first point of contact for Enterprise and Public Sector clients on all of their licensing enquiries.
  • Assist in educating the customers about Insight.com and related services.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints and ensure complaints are resolved to the benefit of Insight and the customer.
  • Attend training seminars on customer licensing programs and products and remain knowledgeable on department functions and system technology.
  • Develop relationships with vendor partners.
  • Assist with end of month/quarter sales activities.

What we’re looking for

  • Extensive experience in an IT Sales Support position, working with Enterprise &/or Public Sector clients
  • Understanding of Microsoft Licensing
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to organise, prioritise, and multitask while coordinating team efforts.
