Location: This is a hybrid opportunity where you will work 1-2 days in the office, and the remaining days from home.

About the role

Leadership: The Manager for this role is Helen Dawtrey. Helen is based in Sydney and leads our APAC Finance team.  Helen is committed to creating value by implementing significant management strategies and effective project management to drive success and make a positive impact. 

As a Services Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end accounting for Insight’s APAC professional services business. We will count on you to drive the monthly financial close and consolidation process for APAC services business through collaboration with business owners, finance and operations team. Along the way, you will get to:

• Manage one senior services accountant based in the Manilla office
• Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles to ensure proper recognition of revenue, COGS and operating expenses.​
• Monthly reconciliation of services revenue, including revenue allocation postings to various profit centres.
• Prepare/review journals for services close
• Be a technical expert and advisor on service accounting matters to the business and finance team
• Complete internal and external audit requests and prepare internal control documentation.

What we’re looking for

• A Senior Accountant with significant experience in services accounting, who is hands-on & has a good eye for detail
• Experience managing small team
• CPA/CA qualification
• Extensive experience with SAP, Power BI and Excel
• US GAAP knowledge specifically on revenue recognition
