Our passionate and talented Apps & Integration team are currently seeking an experienced Technical Specialist / Azure Integration Developer to join their practice.

About our Technical Specialist position:

Technical Specialists are delivery focused technology specialists, who are viewed as trusted advisors by clients and acts as a team lead on smaller engagements.  The Technical Specialist is responsible for working directly with customers to deliver and execute Insight’s current and future services offerings. The Technical Specialist will also be responsible for assisting with the development of Intellectual Property (IP) in their expertise areas and participating in presales activities as subject matter experts.

Experience required:

• Act as leader for the differentiation of Insight’s technical capability.
• Acts as a team lead on smaller engagements taking ownership of the team tasks
• Assists other team members in resolving common development and design problems.
• Provide consulting services including discovery, design, build, deployment, test, pilot, documentation, and transition.
• Assist customers in resolving highly technical and complex problems.
• Collaborate with project manager(s) in project planning.
• Effectively and consistently report status of projects back to project managers during project execution.
• Assist with project closure by developing project artefacts, participating in project lessons learned.
• Display strong situational analysis, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Maintain professional demeanour and appearance at all times.
• Take responsibility as the technical representative of Insight within strategic accounts to develop strong client relationships and identify opportunities for Insight.
• Develop profile as a technical leader in an Insight specialist solution area.

Technical experience:

• Strong cloud native app development expertise in Azure
• Experience developing using C# .NET
• Full Stack (with front-end ability/skills around modern SPA frameworks like – React, Angular, Vue etc.)
• Experience in App Migration / Modernisation / Lift and Shift
• Exposure/experience with: Azure Integration (Logic Apps, API Management etc.) or Microservices
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with tools like Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions
• Strong understanding of automated testing (unit & integration) using common frameworks like MS Test, xUnit, Jasmine, Jest etc.
• Good understanding of software design patterns like CQRS, Repository, Unit of Work etc.
