Business Optimization Analyst

Tempe, AZ, US


Manages and maintains client and e-commerce pricing strategies and structures with detailed knowledge of client and company contracts and the compliance of these contractual terms. Additionally the role will support the business in a number of various reporting and analytical tasks as needed for alignment to overall company initiatives across North America.

Essential Functions of the Job: 


  • Engage in projects with cross functional team members 

  • Train and guide team members on reporting elements, contractual compliance and pricing strategies and analytics 

  • Look for efficiencies and analyze patterns in current processes 

  • Back-up other team members in their absence by having knowledge of their markets and their job functions  

  • Complete various projects as assigned by Sr. Manager and/or Director 

  • Provide timely reporting analytics related to client and partner P&L reviews 

  • Ability to provide guidance and interpret external reporting streams relates to company performance and competitive landscapes 


Other projects – Responsible for completing additional projects and assignments as required by the department 

  • All other assigned duties 




Education and/or Experience:  

Associates degree or above from a college or university; or 5 years industry work experience.

  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and SAP.

  • Ability to effectively present information to other departments and manufacturer representatives. 

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents. 

  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. 

  • Ability to effectively communicate via email, phone and in person. 

  • Ability to understand processes and identify areas of improvement. 

  • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate strong organizational details. 

  • Understanding and development within Database – SQL/Python/etc
