GPO Compliance Contract Specialist

 

 

The GPO Compliance Contract Specialist works directly with management and teammates on assigned GPO contracts, escalates issues to management, executes best practices, and contributes to process enhancements. Contribute to the ongoing efforts to mitigate risk to the company and shall ensure that the assigned contracts remain in compliance with contractual reporting and management requirements. Strong, diplomatic written and verbal communication and fervent attention to detail are two key functions of this position.

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

 

  • Have a solid understanding of legal and contract processes to mitigate risk to company.

 

  • Acquire and retain a deep understanding of all GPO contracts assigned in order to assist in compliance on those contracts.

 

  • Conduct monthly/quarterly internal audits in order to ensure contract compliance on assigned GPO contracts.

 

  • Work independently to generate, prepare and analyze compliance reports.

 

  • Ensure that accurate record taking, and document storage occur on all assigned GPO activities for audit purposes.

 

  • Ability to interface knowledgably with GPO contract personnel including; contract representatives, contracting officers, account executives and directors.

 

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with contracting officers of GPO contracts assigned.

 

  • Work with other internal departments to ensure that every contract held by a GPO is in contract compliance.

 

  • Maintain GPO membership database. Create weekly matchback reports, validate the results, distribute to appropriate personnel and publish on SharePoint.

 

  • Understand key manufacturers and publishers’ programs and solutions that partner with Insight.

 

  • Identify, analyze, and recommend business process changes and improvements in departmental systems and processes.
  • Understand when escalation of issues to higher management is necessary.
  • Must at times work nights and weekends to meet client (internal and external) deadlines.
  • Manage internal and external client communication professionally.
  • Occasional business travel may be required.

 

 

What we need:

 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience in contract or program management
  • bachelor's degree preferred, and IT reseller and federal contract management experience   preferred.
  • Must operate at the highest moral and ethical standards
  • Position requires an individual with strong organizational skills who is analytical, accurate, timely and detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and follow-through on tasks with minimal supervision
  • Power user of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and SQL.
  • Strong mathematical abilities required.
