HR Operations Specialist

As a Human Resources (HR) Specialist on the HR Operations team, you’ll serve as the first point of contact for our North American teammates for anything HR-related, as well as manage the employee lifecycle from hire to retire.

Our HR Operations team is the lifeline for our HR team, acting as the first line of support. You will handle questions about Insight policies and procedures, benefits, payroll, compensation, onboarding/off-boarding, employee relations, learning and development, and recruiting. You must have excellent communication skills and high attention to detail to work with internal and external clients.

What you’ll do for Insight:

  • Communicate. Work across all levels of the company to address HR-related requests. Know your resources and where to find answers to get things done.
  • Partner. Support a number of business unit leaders, align with HR business partners and assist the recruiting team.
  • Support. You’re the primary point of contact for day-to-day questions. You will take calls, handle emails and act as teammates’ first point of contact into HR.
  • Roll up your sleeves. In this role, you’ll get to experience just about everything. On one day, you might help process a new hire, and on the next, you might assist with our open enrollment. A few other common tasks include processing status changes and terminations, performing system audits, conducting employment verifications, processing unemployment claims, managing personnel files and I-9s.

What you’ll need to join Insight:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to effectively communicate with teammates companywide
  • Extreme attention to detail and confidentiality since you’ll be handling sensitive information
  • The ability to manage a number of tasks and projects simultaneously in a rapidly changing environment
  • Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS); SAP and SuccessFactors preferred
