Learning & Development Coordinator

This role supports the coordination and scheduling of Learning & Development training projects/programs, including online assignments and various prepared curriculum, with use of a Learning Management System and other tools as needed (Teams, WebEx, Outlook, etc.). Successful candidates serve as a subject matter expert for training coordination and LMS management in the capacity of advisor to Learning & Development project teams and leadership. 


What you’ll do at Insight:

 

  • Responsible for the support, coordination and scheduling of assignments for training classes, online courses and various prepared curriculum.      
  • Plans and manages logistical resources efficiently (training rooms, virtual classrooms, supplies, print orders, catering etc.) within span of control. 
  • Maintains a master training calendar for multiple business units. 
  • Assists with creating and sending learning surveys, reporting and analytics.                                                                                        
  • May act as communications coordinator for large programs and classes, as needed.
  • Drafts and sends L&D-related communications on behalf of Sr. L&D Mgr.
  • Gathers and analyzes, various data elements to produce professional reports, summarizing potentially complex data.  
  • Serves as triage and troubleshoots online course issues, before escalating to technical resources.
  • Collaborates with other L&D, HRIS and/or IT teams to resolve learning management system or other training-related, technical issues.
  • Develops L&D related processes and procedures.

 

What you’ll need to join Insight: 

 

 

  • Undergraduate degree and/or 3- 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven ability to manage a variety of multiple projects and/or programs with high levels of complexity
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management and scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Planner, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Proficient knowledge of LMS systems, accompanying applications and Microsoft O365 applications, including Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as PowerBI
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication 
  • Ability to prepare and analyze data
  • Self-sufficient in working virtually/remote
