Manager, Product Management, Mobility

Why Insight

As a Manager of Product Management you’ll be able to work with some of the smartest people in the industry, helping drive the key solutions we sell in the mobility space.

We are looking for a Manager to drive our overall go to market initiatives and partnerships across multiple facets of the mobility portfolio, including but not limited to; mobility hardware, mobile device management solutions, telecom carriers, and Google.  This role leads and manages a team of people, but also requires significant individual contribution and a “roll up your sleeves” approach. 

You will work with leaders from multiple functional groups and business units within the company including: services practice, sales, marketing, product marketing, field alliance management, operations, and finance.

 

You will also act as a key resource to manage Insight’s mobility partnerships, and you will meet with our partners on a regular basis to provide updates to our business.  You will also be responsible for forging relationships and being the primary point of contact for many of our mobility partners.  In this role you will be required to continually assess Insight’s mobility Product Management team, providing coaching, mentorship, and improving/growing the team as required. 

 

What you’ll do at Insight:

  • Manage every detail of your assigned responsibility within our mobility business.  See initiative through from start to finish and do the heavy lifting to manage end to end. This includes matrix management of cross functional teams, while serving as the glue across teams within Insight in your assigned areas
  • Drive our go-to-market strategy around key mobility solutions, sales enablement programs and evangelize Insight to our mobility partners.
  • Nurture and grow relationships within our mobility partner set, keeping a strict cadence in place with key stakeholders. Use these relationships to gain insight into what solutions we should be launching next/in the future.
  • Communicate how Insight’s solutions align with our partner’s strategies. Solicit partner input on our go-to-market strategy, and propose and drive change that fuels revenue growth in our mobility portfolio
  • Create optimal strategy for leveraging our partner’s investment programs to propel Insight’s business
  • Partner with Insight’s services Practice teams and key mobility partners to product-ize, market-ize, and evangelize solution offerings that differentiate Insight with our target clients.
  • Provide ROI for Partner Investment:  strategic joint business planning, partner reverse marketing, deliver results and enable GP retention.
  • Combine software, hardware, and services to create solutions for our clients. 

 

What you’ll need to join Insight:

  • Senior leader with experience leading teams
  • 5+ years in partner alliance management with a proven track record of success.
  • Knowledge/experience working with key mobility partners or product lines
  • Possess excellent communication skills with solid experience in presenting and delivering key messages to internal and external senior executives and other audiences
  • Understanding of enterprise sales and solutions selling
  • Must possess ability to sell Insight to our partners
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Technology preferred
  • Travel: Up to 25%
