Marketing Automation Analyst

We are currently seeking a Marketing Automation Analyst to join the best-in-class Marketing department in the Channel to collaborate with Marketing professionals throughout a large department to pursue highly automated, efficient digital marketing processes.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to capture business requirements needed to build automated cross-channel campaigns that support the organization
  • Be a leader in educating internal Marketo users on best practices and how to use Marketo to best leverage marketing automation within campaigns
  • Support with the administration of our Marketo instance, training, and writing documentation
  • Support with all system integrations into Marketo including CRM (SAP), Drift, Vidyard, On24, Cvent, etc.
  • Analyze business problems that can be solved with automation
  • Ensure that Marketo and its related integrations are synced with our data warehouse and other key systems
  • Work on troubleshooting issues that arise and open tickets when necessary
  • Build and optimize best practice program templates for internal Marketo users, such as clone programs, tokens, and more
  • Optimize lead scoring, lead flow, segmentations, “Opt-In” programs, and operational management programs in Marketo
  • Create and maintain Marketo forms and their related lead follow processes
  • Manage and optimize ContentAI to enhance personalization strategy
  • Maintain data within Marketo focusing on data hygiene, data governance, and quality
  • Identify new opportunities and functionality through optimization of various digital marketing tools
  • Ensure proper/full utilization of the tools available throughout the department all with a goal to automate, optimize and generate leads, nurture them deeper into the funnel and convert them to opportunities and won revenue.
  • Regularly monitor overall email performance and communicate results with department

 

 

What you bring to Insight:

  • Extensive experience with Marketo or other marketing automation platform, specifically emails, forms, landing pages, campaigns, lead scoring, lead nurturing, custom objects, personalization, progressive profiling, segmentation, integrations, distribution lists, and reporting
  • Strong technical ability related to marketing automation platforms including integrations and usage of APIs
  • Good understanding of CRM (preferably SAP) and how its integrated with a MAP
  • Technical ability to set up and maintain integrations into Marketo
  • Experience with integrated marketing technologies such as Vidyard, Cvent, On24, Conversica, etc.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to gather requirements, create project plans/roadmaps, and communicate effectively with all business units
  • Ability to understand user requirements and complex issues, and the ability to deliver on them
  • Understand and follow the latest technology trends in marketing automation and demand gen
  • Implement new marketing technologies and improve processes

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university, minimum 3+ years of related experience in digital and marketing automation, or combination of education and experience. Experience with marketing system integrations and API’s. Marketo certification preferred.
