Marketing Content Writer


As an Insight Public Sector Marketing Specialist Content Writer you will be responsible for supporting and executing marketing campaigns for Insight and our vendor partners, with a heavy emphasis on writing and content creation.


This position assists in the development, implementation, measurement and optimizations of marketing campaigns to build awareness and generate leads that drives profitable growth for Insight Public Sector. This role provides copywriting and copy editing for the IPS squad for the creation of assets and collateral. Responsibilities include: 

  • Ensure timely execution of marketing campaigns including the collection of collateral, interfacing with internal teams, scheduling and reporting.  
  • Work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams on the planning and execution of various sales enablement activities.
  • Assist in the development of marketing campaigns that drive measurable improvements in company performance (CoOp investment, revenue, gross profit and client retention).
  • Writing copy for long-form articles, blogs and whitepapers as well as short-form newsletters, emails and ads.
  • Writing copy for web pages, landing pages and microsites as well as brochures, sell sheets and presentations.
  • Proofreading Public Sector marketing materials.
  • Develops strong relationships with internal teammates and stakeholders.
  • Coordinates internal resources to deliver marketing activities.
  • Other administrative projects to support the IPS Squad, as needed

  • High level copywriting
  • Ability to follow brand guidelines
  • Good communicator/listener
  • Understanding of the basic principles of marketing
  • Ability to work in a high energy, fast paced environment, with a desire to come up with fresh ideas on how to engage our key audiences
  • Ability to contribute individually, and participate in cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
  • Creative, flexible and responsive


Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Writing or Communications from a four-year college or university.



This position can be 100% virtual, applicant assumes responsibility for virtual office requirements including furnishings and internet service, laptop is provided.

This role can be located near an Insight Public Sector office location if desired.
