Microsoft Adoption Manager

Are you excited about working directly with Microsoft clients to ensure success as they move forward with cloud computing?

As we continue to grow and scale, we plan to build out a new Microsoft Adoption team based in Tempe, Arizona. One of the key positions we are looking to hire is a Microsoft Adoption Manager who will be one of the key resources for Insight’s end clients, driving and advocating Microsoft initiatives that deliver higher stability, value and increase client satisfaction.

This is the perfect opportunity to develop your ability to facilitate and deliver technical expertise to Insight’s clients to drive smart business solutions for our clients. Your interactions with the sales teams, Microsoft, and clients will provide you the ability to build and maintain strong relationships while uncovering new business opportunities through collaboration. You’ll take a solution-centric approach and provide clients with engineering resources, best practices, tools and guidance to drive Microsoft adoption.

What you’ll do at Insight:

  • Engage: Your focus is to engage and support clients deploying to the Microsoft Cloud. Function as a front-line resource for "best practice" and informal client questions, uncover potential blockers and direct clients to a solution, and exceed client expectations as one of their key resources within Insight.  Give additional access to technical experts when needed.
  • Connect:  Work directly with clients on all aspects of the project including, discovery, intent, client communications, adoption, and support. You will have the opportunity to foster positive client relationships while effectively managing challenging situations and driving client success. 
  • Operationalize:  Your role is crucial for helping drive standards for how we operationalize our Microsoft business and data from our own internal and external systems. This includes program development, creating efficiencies, and working with multiple Insight and Microsoft tools to manage our Microsoft business and growth.
  • Execute: Implement internally created programs by leveraging business intelligence to identify new areas of opportunity. Track, measure and report in the success of these programs.
  • Develop:  Maintain expertise on Microsoft’s software and cloud products, programs, competition and the industry as well as learning about their solutions including product solutions, product roadmaps, technology, and industry/competitive information. Take that expertise and put it into action in trainings and presentations. 
  • Sell: Identify potential technical or business obstacles and make recommendations for solutions in line with best practices.

 

What you’ll need to join Insight:

  • A bachelor’s degree from a four-year university; and/or 5+ years professional experience
  • 2+ years experience in client-facing positions in support, technical account management, sales account management or other related roles.
  • Strong in Microsoft Office Suite – PowerPoint, Visio, Excel
  • Excellent communication and cross collaboration skills with teammates, a must
  • Ability to demonstrate ownership over tasks and assignments
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients and internal teams
  • Experience with Microsoft cloud technologies and/or knowledge highly preferred
