Senior Brand Specialist Marketing

As the Senior Brand Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the Insight brand. You will help prioritize and manage all branding initiatives in effort to grow brand recognition, equity, and loyalty. In addition, you will maintain and manage the brand guidelines and serve as Insight’s brand ambassador to strengthen our brand affinity at a global enterprise level.

 

To Be Successful you will:

  • Maintain and augment the brand guidelines, messaging playbook and content style guides
  • Manage brand toolkit, enablement and internal brand presence, and inventory of branded assets
  • Oversee on-going brand listening with clients, partners and teammates
  • Identify and manage brand-building initiatives on an annual basis
  • Lead naming initiatives
  • Work with agency partners to ensure brand consistency and further grow the brand
  • Facilitate cross-functional brand initiatives with departments and other regions globally
  • Analyze and support inbound and outbound marketing plans to align with brand strategy and achieve goals.
  • Manage the budget for your assigned initiatives
  • Drive profitable sales, brand growth and loyalty
  • Provide design/content and direction for collateral, web, product packaging, and other visual communications media for the company and work directly with the internal team and external agencies
  • Orchestrate the creation of emails, flyers, ads, webcasts, web pages, training materials and printed materials.
  • Stay on top of B2B branding trends
  • Drive key brand migration initiatives through acquisitions.
  • Support brand migration planning and tactical execution through developing communications, auditing branded assets, timeline and logistical organization, and holistic alignment of teams at an enterprise level on a global scale.

 

As a Senior Brand Specialist, you will:

  • Be strategic. You will proactively oversee and grow the brand. Recommend joint brand/marketing/sales programs. Prepare status and response reports on branding efforts. Provide recommendations for yearly brand initiatives
  • Contribute and create. You will oversee all branding initiatives and ensure a brand lens is placed on key internal and external communications. You will collaborate with Creative teams to ensure the brand guidelines are adhered to. You will work with agency partners to ensure brand consistency.
  • Coordinate and communicate. You will develop a closed loop communication process both with internal Insight teams and all external agencies. Contributes in Sales Leadership meetings with the team, communicating branding initiatives to sales, and sales initiatives to marketing. Support Events team in sales communication for all Insight events and external tradeshows, driving attendance through sales teams.

 

Required Skills for this Senior Brand Specialist Opportunity:

  • One part creative, one-part strategic thinker
  • Understanding of core brand disciplines such as architecture, visual identity, voice and tone, and positioning
  • High level copy writing and proficient understanding of design principles
  • Ability to follow brand guidelines and educate on guideline best practices
  • Stay up to date on current brand trends
  • Excellent communicator/listener
  • Proactive and able to prioritize in a multi-tasking environment
  • Exceptionally efficient and able to manage time effectively
  • Quick learner with exceptional aptitude for understanding complex, technical concepts
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Project management and logistical organization

What you bring to Insight:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Business Administration/Marketing from four-year College or university. Have a minimum of 5 years marketing experience within Business-to-Business organization or B2B agency, or equivalent experience in brand strategy
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in core branding disciplines as mentioned above in addition to experience with enterprise-level rebrands, brand migration and/or acquisitions.
