Senior Contracts Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Advise internal clients (e.g. sales, finance, operations, marketing and service delivery teams) on financial risk in commercial transactions, complex agreements, approval processes, company policies and procedures, intellectual property related issues, negotiating strategy, compliance with company requirements, and customer and partner contract reviews
  • Draft, review, revise and negotiate contracts (e.g. master/framework agreements and related amendments and addenda, and statements of work)
  • Summarize and communicate contract concepts and make recommendations teammates can clearly understand and act upon
  • Assist with legal research and special projects, including managing commercial relationships, mergers and acquisitions support, compliance training and pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries (e.g. develop contract training materials; improve tools, templates and processes, and provide training on business terms, and solutions and company contracting policies)
  • Work largely autonomously, relying on experience and judgment to assist the business in accomplishing its goals while also working to protect Insight’s commercial interests

 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

 

  • JD preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to independently move projects forward by gaining support needed from others while working in a cross-functional role
  • Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional groups (e.g., Finance, Operations, Sales, IT) to set objectives and produce meaningful results
  • Strong experience in developing, implementing, and using legal department technology solutions (e.g., Microsoft O365 productivity tools, DocuSign, Adobe Sign, CLM, and related workflow and content management platforms)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with ability to draft, review and negotiate complex technology agreements (preferably from a sell-perspective)
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple transactions and competing priorities in a fast-paced, fluid, and deadline-driven environment
  • Intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm for technology, and interest in the technology industry, including without limitation, the Internet-of-Things, app development, cloud computing, as-a-service technology solutions and machine learning
  • Experience interacting with senior management, clients and partners
