As a Service Operations Specialist for Insight, you will enter a high-energy and tech savvy world. We are looking for someone who is a team player, an excellent communicator, and has exemplary organizational skills.

 

As a Service Operations Specialist, you can expect to:

 

  • Multi-task  You will collaborate to triage SOW/CR requests, assign the correct resources, direct teammates to the appropriate processes, and create regularly scheduled reports. You will be interacting with people at all levels of the company including Sales, Technical and Services Organizations.
  • Take Ownership – You will develop a practical knowledge of Insight’s offerings including Hardware, Software, and Services; and be the point of contact for Services Sales Intake questions.
  • Be Challenged – Your job is never done as a Service Operations Specialist. You will manage the team mailbox and Intake mailbox, addressing any issues that are submitted.
  • Use your knowledge – This position requires the ability to enter data into systems accurately and have an understanding of Microsoft Excel to create a variety of reports to support the business.

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • Ability to quickly process incoming requests, while applying critical thinking to address questions.
  • Ability to accurately create a variety of reports.
  • Ability to multitask with strong organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints in a timely fashion, demonstrating good communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to enter data into systems accurately.
  • Ability to evaluate requests and direct teammates to the appropriate process.
  • High School or GED required. 1-5 years of administrative experience required.

 

Duties include:

 

  • Serving on Intake Team to address requests for statements of work (SOWs)/change requests (CRs):
    • Triaging opportunities to determine correct process/resources needed
    • Directing requests and answering questions
    • Assigning appropriate pursuit team members, depending on type of services requested
    • Processing Services SKUs
    • Managing workflow process
    • Initiating workflows in the tool/system
  • Making changes to workflows/status in workflow tool and adding notes in Comments section.
  • Ensuring workflows are re-assigned when teammates leave Insight; creating relevant reports as needed, and following up with management.
  • Creating various reports on a weekly/semi-weekly basis and communicating results to various teams within Insight.
  • Managing team mailbox and handling any issues as necessary.
  • Handling workflow tool issues to keep workflows moving.
  • Formatting/proof reading internal resumes.
  • Creating SOWs as needed.
  • Proofing and editing all content of various documents.
  • Ensuring all necessary internal approvals are in place and then creating final documents to send to clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.
