Solutions Partner Marketing Specialist, Apple

As a Solutions Partner Marketing Specialist for Apple at Insight, you will be responsible for partnering with the Apple product management team to execute sales enablement and demand generation strategies to support sales pipeline growth and revenue, while aligning to Insight’s strategic go-to-market growth goals for Apple. You will act as the main point of contact for the communication and implementation of marketing campaign tactics that accelerate revenue and margin performance.

Additionally, you will be leading objectives that grow Apple’s relationships and investments into Insight's solution areas, as well as grow their overall marketing investment. You will work with a cross-functional team to effectively problem solve and provide compelling solutions that align with Insight's solution area goals. You will be responsible for the management of and reporting for Apple marketing, making sure their investment is maximized across Insight's full portfolio of clients (solution area and GTMs), and that profitability goals are met along with proof of performance requirements to ensure all funding is collected.

To Be Successful you will:

  • Immerse yourself in the Apple business at Insight from day one, understanding Insight’s goals for the business and the strategic direction of our partnership with Apple
  • Develop, pitch and maintain ongoing partner campaigns and programs, while regularly reporting on results
  • Become a subject matter expert on Apple
  • Measure success of various marketing campaigns and provide recommendations for optimization
  • Work with cross-functional marketing team to orchestrate the creation of emails, flyers, ads, webcasts, web pages, and other marketing materials to support campaign initiatives
  • Partner with Product Management team to ensure campaign strategy is aligned to overall business goals
  • Ensure proper execution of all activities, inclusive of gathering proof of performance (POP) post-campaign
  • Understand and adhere to Apple’s strict branding guidelines

 

As a Sr. Partner Marketing Specialist, you will:

  • Be in the business: Understand each of Insight’s solution areas, their goals, and how your partner can contribute or align to achieve mutual success. You will also be up to date with all things Apple, including the growth strategies for Apple at Insight.
  • Be strategic: Develop, launch and manage comprehensive and effective demand generation campaigns to grow company's overall solution area business. Execute targeted activities and oversee lead follow-up and conversion rates by business development team.
  • Contribute and create: Submit thorough Creative Service Requests within defined criteria and timelines. Prepare status reports on the marketing efforts and coordinate all aspects of a campaign.
  • Coordinate and communicate: Lead robust technology partner relationships from a marketing and programs perspective, including providing updates on marketing initiatives, campaign results, etc.

 

 

What we need from you:

  • BS/BA in Business, Marketing or other related field, MBA or similar post graduate education is a plus, minimum 4+ years of experience in marketing or product management within a Business-to-Business sales organization.
  • Must have some level of channel partner marketing experience
  • Technology experience preferred
  • Business-to-business marketing experience preferred
  • Apple experience and/or familiarity is preferred
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with product management in the technology space

 

 Must haves:

  • Marketing planning and execution - Experience working with complex marketing stacks to develop integrated (digital and traditional) campaigns or marketing programs. Understanding of CRM/Digital Marketing tools as well as traditional marketing channels, and budget management.
  • Results oriented/Decision-making – Create and meet deadlines while managing time efficiently and prioritizing in a multi-tasking environment. Ability to lead cross functional teams to achieve deliverables and pivot plans when needed to meet desired goals. Experience using analytics and metrics to help guide team and drive towards quarter over quarter improvements in the performance of demand generation efforts.
  • Effective communication - Articulate communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Relationship building - Highly collaborative work style. Experience working in matrixed organizations is a plus.
  • Operational excellence – Implement and follow process that support a quality teammate or client experience. Bring ideas for improvement to the table.
  • Business acumen – understand the big picture of the business and how your partner can help support these goals.
  • Supervision – self-starter with exceptional aptitude for understanding complex technical concepts, ability to follow through and lead others
  • Creativity - up to date on current marketing trends, ability to innovate while following brand guidelines
