We are looking for an AWS Associate Consultant to be an integral part within the relevant Insight services delivery team, aligned with Insight’s strategic expertise and defined practice areas.

 

You will be responsible for response for providing support to Consultants and Insight’s clients, producing deliverables, providing robust analysis, consolidating, and preparing data. They intervene on one or more parts of a project or an assignment. They contribute to the overall quality of the service and are responsible for the reliability of their achievements. They use and contribute to the Insight knowledge base and methodologies to advance client operations and drive innovation and efficiencies whilst meeting defined high-quality outputs.

 

This role has a high level of learning associated with it; the exact learning will be specific to the domain in which the role resides. It is critical that the Associate Consultant has a self-starting and pro-active mindset. Whilst a clear learning curriculum will be provided, it is pivotal that the Associate Consultant looks beyond the core learning, to expand knowledge and capability as often as possible, either through theoretical learning, or via service delivery in client scenarios.

As an AWS Associate Consultant your Responsibilities are:

 

  • Contribute to delivery of IT related projects to clients by anticipated client outcomes are successfully delivered.
  • Be responsible for the customisation and configuration of client services offerings.
  • Contribute to design and build activities to address client needs and business drivers and ensure solutions meet or exceed the client’s expectations.
  • Contribute to SOWs creation in line with the configuration and or customisation needs required for each client.
  • Contribute to SOWs definition and or client engagement documentation to Insight’s standards, maintain clear Plan, Build and Manage stages and ensure they follow the “designed for operation” methodology.
  • Responsible for managing multiple concurrent tasks in an efficient manner including tracking progress against deadlines and expectations, as well as collaborating with colleagues to understand anomalies and overcome conflicts or issues.
  • Preparation of analyses and observation to support improved efficiency in client and Insight operations including providing support for regular reporting and strategic review or planning workshops to be delivered by more senior colleagues.

 

Experience and Skills:

 

  • Ensures the continuity and traceability of work (regular data backups and availability of these documents on collaborative tools).
  • Fulfils administrative obligations within the deadlines and alerts manager in the event of a problem (time recording, signing of time reports with clients, etc.)
  • Seeks to improve, to respect good practices and to develop knowledge.
  • Offers to help spontaneously when available to contribute to the activities of the team and of Insight in general (help on a project, capitalize on knowledge acquired during a mission, participate in commercial proposals, etc.)
  • Manages time in autonomy and can meet deadlines.
  • Can work as part of a team and contribute to collective efficiency.
  • Is initiative-taking in holding formal meetings with the hierarchy (annual appraisal, after action reviews, etc.)
