Location: Multiple (Manchester, Sheffield or Uxbridge)  

Hybrid - 2 days/week in our office in Manchester

The Role

We are seeking a driven Account Executive to join our Healthcare Public Sector team, responsible for managing and growing a defined book of medium-sized NHS Trusts. You’ll be selling a wide range of software, hardware, and solutions, helping our healthcare customers improve outcomes through smart, scalable technology. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute, consultative salesperson who thrives on building relationships, spotting opportunities, and delivering innovative solutions to public sector clients. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an assigned book of NHS healthcare trust accounts 

  • Develop strong, strategic relationships with key stakeholders across IT, procurement, and clinical departments 

  • Identify new business opportunities within your accounts, including cross-sell and upsell initiatives across software, hardware, and services portfolios 

  • Work closely with internal technical, pre-sales, and solution specialist teams to deliver value-driven proposals 

  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and account planning 

  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets 

  • Keep up to date with healthcare sector trends, procurement processes (e.g., frameworks), and regulatory requirements 

 

 Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B sales (minimum 4-5 years) ideally within IT solutions, software, or hardware 

  • Experience selling into the healthcare or public sector highly desirable 

  • Strong consultative sales approach with excellent relationship management skills 

  • Ability to navigate complex organizations and engage multiple decision-makers 

  • Commercially astute with a results-driven mindset 

  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating across remote teams 

  • Based within a commutable distance of Manchester, Sheffield, or Uxbridge 

  • Willingness to travel regularly across client sites and company offices
