The Marketing team serves as the face of Insight, promoting and supporting the company’s business strategy through a coordinated communications approach. Marketing teammates develop critical connections with both clients and vendor partners, with a view to creating long-lasting relationships.  The Marketing team also plays a key role in defining compelling value propositions, as well as executing promotional activity, in order to generate brand awareness and drive demand for Insight’s solutions and services.

 

 

 

The Brand & Communications team, a key part of the Marketing function, plays a pivotal role in driving brand reputation and generating awareness and demand for Insight’s solutions and services. This is achieved through expert design and comprehensive internal and external communications including PR and social media. The team works across the full marketing mix; it supports campaigns with high-quality social, PR, and design content, promotes and designs virtual and face-to-face events, and constructs communications which amplify Insight’s reputation across the globe, building brand trust and loyalty.

 

 

The Internal Communications Manager endeavours to position Insight, internally and externally, as an employer of choice. Working closely with senior-level stakeholders, the Internal Communications Manager uses creativity, and an insight-driven approach, to create and disseminate innovative, targeted campaigns to drive employee engagement and timely, consistent communications across a diverse workforce.

 

The Internal Communications Manager is responsible for planning, designing, developing, coordinating, and maintaining policies and programmes which increase teammates awareness and knowledge of activities, and also enhance the organisations relations with the internal teammate population, external prospective talent community, and wider EMEA business, promoting the adoption of sharing and social collaboration.

 

In addition, the Internal Communications Manager leads a range of improvement initiatives and further develops communication channels using various media including the implementation, regular usage, and championing of Insight’s communications platforms, ensuring they are fully embedded into daily working life and provide an effective two-way flow of information between the organisation and it’s teammates.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop Insight’s internal communications offering by strategically planning, initiating, and delivering internal communications campaigns in support of Insight’s objectives.
  • Build audience insight to drive strategies, channel selection, content, and messaging. 
  • Advise on and draft internal communications for senior internal stakeholders. 

 

  • Produce regular engaging content for teammates in order to drive traffic to Insight’s internal communications platform.  
  • Facilitate teammate interviews, listening exercises, and workshops in order to gather content and soundbites for internal and external communications. 
  • Create compelling, relevant, and targeted messaging based on the talent the organisation needs to hire both now and for the future. 
  • Work with the EMEA Design team to create compelling and engaging content to drive internal audiences to Insight’s internal platform. 
  • In conjunction with the Social Media Manager, devise and help to implement Insight’s recruitment social media activity. 
  • Create an ongoing calendar comprised of compelling, varied content and channels to drive increased visibility of current opportunities and position Insight as an employer of choice.
  • In conjunction with the Social Media Manager, define and deliver against targeted recruitment campaigns utilising a range of relevant recruiting and social channels. 
  • Make recommendations on the best channels and media type for social recruiting activity.
  • Grow and maintain Insight’s profile online (i.e., Glassdoor, LinkedIn) and on relevant job boards/publications. 
  • Develop and maintain Insight’s careers website content, ensure it remains attractive, relevant, and appealing to prospective talent. 
  • Set measurable KPIs for all activity, measure success against strategy and further identify areas/channels of success and areas/channels in need of further attention.  
  • Analyse recruitment campaigns and channels on a weekly basis to measure engagement effectiveness, optimise activity, and track ROI. 
  • Track performance of both holistic campaigns and individual assets in order to optimise based on performance. 
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager, and wider Talent team, to understand regional/functional hiring challenges. 
  • In conjunction with the Social Media Manager, put in place targeted social campaigns to attract the right active and or passive talent required, and seek out the best messaging and content to achieve resolution.

Key skills and experience required:

 

 

  • Educated to degree level or can demonstrate equivalent work experience  -Holds relevant professional qualification, accreditation and or certification
  • High level of written and spoken English
  • A confident, outward-looking, proactive communicator
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word) -Previous experience working at a management level in Internal Communications
  • Previous experience of producing a broad range of different, attention-grabbing, creative assets using different media. 
  • Highly experienced using Adobe cloud suite, InDesign, PowerPoint and filming/editing tools and software
  • Experience with social media including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Xing -Ability to develop and implement creative, insight driven engagement strategies and plans
  • Excellent writing, planning and editorial skills with a forensic eye for detail -Ability to respond quickly and innovatively to manage and enhance reputation
  • A creative, yet strategic thinker, with a well developed influencing style and considerable experience in internal communications
  • Collaborative and team oriented, ability to work with a range of personalities and understand how to ‘get the best out of people’.
  • A confident, outward-looking, proactive communicator, with first-rate writing skills and the ability to write for a range of audiences
  • Experience of working within a globally diverse environment, showing an understanding of and keen interest in equality, diversity, and inclusion
  • Evidence of planning and delivering integrated, multi-channelled internal communications campaigns -Resilient, with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure: delivering at pace whilst retaining quality of work
  • Experience of working with senior colleagues and stakeholders to develop and implement creative, insight-driven engagement strategies and plans which meet business objectives and support campaign delivery -A highly self-motivated, confident, proactive, innovative individual, with ability to work independently on own initiative, and accurately to tight deadlines and prioritises between conflicting demands to ensure delivery targets are met
  • Ability to develop friendly, positive, and supportive working relationships with external and internal clients, and to provide them with excellent service
  • Previous experience of building and maintaining strong internal and external working relationships across all levels, gaining the confidence of directors and senior managers
  • A proven track record in using insight to successfully target communications -Considerable experience of using evaluation to drive internal communications
  • Ability to deliver at pace and to tight deadlines juggling a range of conflicting priorities  -Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, results-oriented culture
